WHY THE FASHIONABLE WORLD NEEDS DIGITAL MARKETING

It was amazing to see how much things have advanced in just the last few years. In the digital world the average person looks at his or her phone 150 times a day. Each time he/she looks is a Marketing opportunity.

According to a recent research in Canada the researchers have found out that attention span for someone online right now is 8.25 seconds which is even lesser than the goldfish. So it is a good thing as the digital marketing is fast enough to keep up with the shorter attention spans using a status update, one helpful post or a responsive comment which is used to brand your products.

ELON MUSK AND IDEA OF THE LITTLE GIRL:

Tesla Motors is known for running an Idiosyncratic marketing strategy, which means no advertising and no chief marketing officer. But recently, Tesla chief Elon Musk has agreed to adopt a marketing idea pitched by a schoolgirl from Michigan. In that email to Tesla the fifth grade school girl Bria had conveyed that "I have noticed that you do not advertise, but many people make homemade commercials for Tesla and some of them are very good. They look professional and they are entertaining. So, I think that you should run a competition on who can make the best homemade Tesla commercial and the winners will get their commercial aired. The cool part is that you still won't be taking the time and money to advertise for yourself”. Finally Elon Musk has agreed to adopt a marketing idea pitched to him by a schoolgirl from Michigan. So whatever the strategy may be if that is been the choice of the audience we should definitely dare to adapt that method at any cost. Also We should try to understand the audience better when they are in digital mode.

EVOLUTION OF DIGITAL MARKETING BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE:

Once it was published in Forbes article that “marketing and analytics go together like peanut butter and jelly.” I tend to agree. In the past 10 years, the Digital Marketing industry has been one of the earliest adopters of new BI (Business Intelligence, similar to Data Analytics) technologies that made the industry the ideal playground for innovative data technologies.

They say Rome wasn’t built in a day – well, neither were Digital Marketing BI technologies.

BIGGEST CHALLENGES TO DIGITAL MARKETING:

1. Security risk a big query: There may be a mighty security setup for your websites such as Firewalls and HTTPS encryption but still that was not enough as we need a good security team to identify the weakness and the reduce the risk.

2.Cluttered Market: Among the billions of websites, being a brand is always a better challenge for any competitor and only with the help of SEO we need to rise but day by day the Google’s algorithm is keep on changing and its becoming a toughest business to standout.

3. Increased Ad-blockers: The growth of Ad-blocking softwares are increasing rapidly as it leaves the marketing industry to a deathtrap. Even though we use Native advertising and ask the visitors to White list the website it’s still a great sorrow for the marketers until we find a better solution.

So anything is not perfect in this digital world and everything has it’s own pros and cons where in the digital marketing world

FUTURE TRENDS IN DIGITAL MARKETING:

EPHEMERAL CONTENT:
The idea of sharing content that disappears within 24 hours was popularized by Snapchat and adapted by both Instagram and Facebook is becoming a hot trend in today’s marketing world as the users develop an urgent mentality in their daily life and the fear of missing out keep them engaged in. This content format is popular with Millennials and generation Z. The beauty of using ephemeral content is that it’s less formal and rehearsed that allows you to connect with customers in a new way.

BLOCK CHAIN:
When we think of blockchain, most of us probably think of finance, cryptocurrencies, and digital ledgers. Google is now accepting Bitcoin payments with the Developers Payment API. Even Walmart and Barclays have also begun implementing blockchain as a tool for transaction and record keeping. So we all believe future marketing in a blockchain world will make us all better marketers.

GEOLOCATION MARKETING:
Geo-location allows us to pinpoint our customers much more effectively than ever before. Geo-fencing is a location-based digital marketing tool which allows your business to send display advertising to smartphone users in a defined geographic area. This allows your business to send ads to anyone who crosses over into that area. For example, shoppers that arrive at a mall can be targeted with ads by stores located in that mall.

INSTAGRAM STORIES:
One of the main differences between Instagram and Snapchat stories has been the lack of fun filters, geo-filters, and stickers in Instagram Stories – until recently. At the end of 2016, Instagram launched stickers, which looks almost identical to Snapchat’s stickers. You can find customizable stickers for the weather, the current time, and even your location, just like you can on Snapchat.

VISUAL ANALYTICS:
One of the most effective tools of digital marketing considered nowadays is visual analytics. Visual analytics tool has helped countless organizations to perform well when it comes to the marketing. This provide you the virtual analysis, it allows you to monitor where the user leaves, where the user has lost his interest and what are limitations of your business.

So to the conclusion as Mark Zuckerberg stated that “drones can connect 4 billion people to the internet" so it is no surprise if the future marketing world gets interlinked with the aviation field too. Whatever the transformations may occur our soul target is the global audience where content is the king and Digital marketing will be the Masterclass business.
